Rosewater & Chocolate Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are a quick and easy way to eat well. They are high on the list of breakfast musts… if you haven’t tried one yet, now is as good a time as any. For busy mums, they are a must!

One of our favourite blogs and Instagram accounts is Alpha Foodie. Samira creates incredibly beautiful food, almost too good to eat… almost. Here’s one of our favourites.

INGREDIENTS

For the Smoothie base (pink/rosewater part)

  1. 1/2 cup frozen raspberries

  2. 1 frozen banana

  3. 1 teaspoon rose water

  4. 1/2 cup almond milk (or your choice of milk)

For the Smoothie base (chocolate part)

  1. 1 frozen banana

  2. 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder

  3. 1 teaspoon maca powder

  4. 1/2 cup almond milk (or your choice of milk)

  5. 1/2 rolled oats (optional for the extra nutrients)

For the toppings

  1. Your favourite toppings (I chose raspberries, pomegranate, few very dark chocolate pieces & edible rose petals)
